MARCHERS AUTHORS ON TOUR

We are a  group of renowned and new authors, poets and illustrators, an eclectic mix of  creatives,  united not only by our love of words,  but also for the fact that we all live in and around the Welsh Marches.

 

 Margaret Iggulden, a founder member of the group said, 'This area has a rich crop of talented writers and illustrators living in Monmouthshire, The Forest of Dean and stretching up into Herefordshire.

 

'We gather regularly at the local Society of Authors social events and it was at one last May when we had the idea to set up this group, meet our readers, invite them to browse and chat about the books they enjoy reading.  

 

'Since the Marchers Authors group was formed we've travelled to Literary Festivals, library events and various fairs in the Wye Valley and beyond.’
